This Privacy Policy explains how Storytime AI (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects and uses information from visitors to our marketing website at storytimeaiapp.com (the “Site”).

This policy covers the Site only. Our classroom product and the student data it processes are governed by a separate Product Privacy Policy, which addresses children’s privacy under COPPA, FERPA, and applicable state student-data-privacy laws. If you’re a school or district evaluating the product, that document — not this one — describes how student information is handled.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit a form on the Site (for example, to request a demo or contact us), we collect the details you provide — typically your name, work email, organization, role, and your message. Depending on where you are, we may also add you to our marketing list — see “Marketing emails” below.

Information collected automatically. If you accept cookies, we collect information about how you use the Site — such as the pages you view and links you click — along with general device and browser information and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We also use a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool for aggregate traffic statistics that don’t identify you.

Cookies and similar technologies

We do not place non-essential cookies until you accept them using the cookie bar shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

• Essential cookies are needed for the Site to function and are always on.
• Analytics cookies (used only with your consent) help us understand how the Site is used and recognize you across visits, so that — if you’ve contacted us or subscribed — we can connect your activity to your contact record and follow up with relevant information.

Marketing emails

If you are in the United States, submitting a form on the Site may add you to our marketing list — the note next to each form tells you when this applies. We’ll send Storytime AI updates, resources, and event invites; every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing doesn’t affect our reply to your inquiry.

If you are outside the United States, we send marketing email only when you check the box asking for it, and you can withdraw that consent at any time — use the unsubscribe link in any email or write to us.

To apply the right rule, we estimate your country from your IP address when you submit a form, and we keep a record of that estimate and of any consent you give. If we can’t tell where you are, we treat you as outside the United States.

Legal bases (for EEA/UK visitors)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent for marketing emails and non-essential cookies; and our legitimate interests in responding to your inquiries, in securing and improving the Site, and in estimating your general location from your IP address so that we apply the correct regional marketing rules. You can withdraw consent at any time.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract and on our instructions. By category, these are: a customer-relationship-management (CRM) provider, an email-delivery provider, a website-analytics provider, and a cloud-hosting provider. International transfers

We are based in the United States and process information there. Where information is transferred from other regions, we use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes described above — for example, to respond to you and manage our relationship — or as required by law, after which we delete or de-identify it.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (for example, in the EEA, UK, or California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
